I've just heard today from our travel agent, Real Russia (who I must say, are fantastic at what they do, highly recommended!) that our visas have been collected from the consulate and should be with us tomorrow! Yay!
This can most definitely confirm that we are visiting Russia on our amazing whistle stop tour of Europe and Asia!
